Advocacy

What is Advocay?

We know that having the right support in place will provide you with the right tools to be successful and independent in life.

We aim to provide care experienced indivdual’s/young people a voice, that will be heard.

We support care experienced individual’s to understand their rights and express their views.

The social care sector for children coming through the care system from the past, present and future deserve to have a voice and we want to ensure that our organisation makes a difference in ensuring the right support is always in place.

Who are we?

We started as group of care leaver’s with a shared experience of going through the care system, we all had different journeys in the system, but we all have one shared goal and that is to make sure future children in care can continue to dream big, be heard and supported. We want to ensure they can get the same opportunity and access to reach their dreams as those who haven’t been in care.

We aim to increase your knowledge of your rights, we will work towards buliding your confidence and ensuring that you are invovled in making decisions about your life.

We are independent from a local authority (local council), the NHS and Government department.
